The Joker.
By Scholar

This was an assignment in writing to write from someone else's shadow. I chose the Joker.

Poem 1

People are easy targets

They are all pawns in my game

I carefully execute them

Corpses add to my fame

I pick them off at random

Threaten them with a handgun

Leave them hanging in a dress in the heart of Manhatten

I do it all with a smile

My wife couldnt stand my smaile

Now I smile all the while

While her body is enjoyed by a crocodile

I enjoy chasing around my black shadow

He hates me

But he cant elude me

He cant stop me

One day the whole city will burn

And Ill collect the ashes and put it in an urn

Sit back and revel how I made it all disappear

Just like a pencil.
