RIP hayley <3
By Charly

A piece written for my friend Hayley, who sadly passed away at 14 years old.

Category: Autobiographies/Memoirs
Genre: Psychological

Chapter 1

As you exhale your last, precious breath, You feel numb. You tingle. You can almost feel the icy hands around your desperate neck. Its been a long time waiting, and now the relief can spread across your weary, tired body. For so long you were brave. Tremendous. A soldier. You deserved a uniform, showing each of your amazing victories.

The light shone from your pure soul. Your heart raditating nothing but love and positivity. Blessed, we feel blessed. Not because we knew you, but because you knew us. Because you knew us enough to let us in. We saw the real you. The beautiful, perfect you. We will always remember that version of our beloved. Our beloved baby hayley, now safe, sleeping on the clouds with the angels. Watching over us, your heavenly smile keeping us safe.

RIP, hayley <3

I realised after writing it that I meant to put memoir, rather than poem, which therefore ruined the rest of the paragraph. Ahh, well you got the message ;] xxx
