Fallen Angels - Blue fades to Red
By TrueBluElectrcBlu

A series of creative political pieces. A selected works by a publicly selected (but anonymous) author. This is supposed to be a broadly unbiased expression of political events from the last twenty years in Great Britain. Enjoy, pilgrims of truth.

Category: Poetry
Genres: Political, Psychological

Poem 1

Nineteen Ninety Seven, we're falling from heaven

BBC reports:  We just lost Devon

Tears pour down Portillo's left cheek,

The party is crumbling, never been so weak

Time drifts on,

A torch turns into a tree,

Next year perhaps we will all be set free.

Now voters are forgiven for their disgusting betrayal,

Let's see them off, Dragging between their legs,

their tail.

Lament?

Never.

Perhaps.

Poem 2

A Twit or a Twat,  let's not be bitter,

Flash Brown may Twitter, the baby sitter,

Silly season,  amaze me?  It never fails,

I plead thee, only  listen to Iain Dales

Poem 3

Oh dear Miners,

How can we please thee?

A job, a profession,

Are you owed these for free?

No say I,

Nor Tebbit nor Clarke,

Begone foul demons,

Leave us, Embark.

These are dreadful. It is obvious that this is a pro-Tory website. Such a shame. We all know that Tories made for bad poets and writers. :(

Actually, it's a broadly unbiased version of events. I would never let my own political views influence my works.

The poems are good, I don't love them but I am really enjoying your comments around the site, they make me laugh. Well done for bringing Mr Albastar down and good luck with the continued witch hunt!
